People today immerse themselves in a constant stream of updates, news and information. Although smartphones are one of the main ways we stay in touch with the people and information we care about, conventional designs have failed to keep pace with how people are actually using them,” said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation. “A new, exciting approach to the smartphone is needed and with the new HTC One, we have re-imagined the mobile experience from the ground up to reflect this new reality.”
HTC One brings with it HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe and HTC BoomSound that are the latest innovations from HTC that make this smartphone ahead of the iphones and galaxies.
HTC BlinkFeed helps integrate all the personally relevant information such as social updates, news, photos right at the home screen so that people need not go around different applications to find that what’s happening. It also constantly aggregates fresh content from various relevant sources so that people don’t have to switch between websites and applications.
HTC UltraPixel camera is new to scene and One comes with a 4-megapixel BSI sensor and f/2.0 lens. This helps each pixel gather 300 percent more light than the current smartphone sensors. The camera unit also features optical image stabilization and HTC’s ImageChip 2 for HDR, 1080p and 60fps video. Apart from this, new feature called HTC Zoe will allow users to capture and share short videos.
HTC BoomSound introduces front-facing stereo speakers with a dedicated amplifier and amazing HD display that immerses people in music, videos, games and the YouTube™ clips they love. It is also integrated with Beats™ Audio for rich, authentic sound whether you’re listening to your favorite music, watching a YouTube video or playing a game.
Apart from this HTC One comes with HTC Sense TV that allows its users to use HTC One as TV remote control for most TV’s, set-top boxes and receivers.
