HTC has always known to be a developer friendly OEM, especially when it comes to things like bootloader unlocking, and even has an official support page where one can go ahead and bootloader unlock a compatible HTC device. And staying true to that image, the Taiwanese giant has now confirmed that they would also be making a Developer Edition of their upcoming flagship – the HTC One, available in limited quantities.The HTC One Deveoper Edition will come with SIM and bootloader unlocked, pack 64GB of internal storage, and have the same other hardware specs as the regular retail version – 4.7″ 1080p FullHD display, Snapdragon 600 Chipset and 2GB RAM.
The HTC One Developer Edition will be priced at $649, which is actually a pretty decent price point given the capabilities of this awesome device, and the fact that it comes free of all shackles, yours to play with as you please.
