The HTC One, HTC’s 2013 flagship device has just been announced a couple of days ago and is not even available for purchase just as yet. Along with a stunning FullHD 1080p display and Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 600 processor ticking under the hood, the HTC One will also come with the latest iteration of HTC’s trademark overlay – Sense 5. Initial impressions of the revamped UI indicate a sleeker, sexier and lighter overlay, which still includes all the goodies that HTC Sense is loved for. Plus there are some stunning new wallpapers that accompany Sense 5, which for now and the near future, would only be available on the HTC One. Unless you want to wait for Sense 5 to be released for select HTC devices later.
Fortunately for us, an XDA member loan92 happened to get to play with an HTC One at an event in Italy, and managed to extract these stunning wallpapers, and has been gracious enough to upload them for all of us to enjoy as well. There are eighteen of them in all, and all of then look absolutely gorgeous, even on my old 720p Galaxy Nexus screen. Imagine how spectacular they would look on that 1080p display of the HTC One, or for that matter the Droid DNA. They would even make a fine addition to the 720p display on the Galaxy Note 2.
Most of these wallpapers look like colorful abstract straight line art, and there are a few stunning black and white pics as well. Take a look at a few of them. To view and download the complete set of 18 wallpapers, you can visit the original XDA thread where they have been uploaded. Get some Sense 5 goodness on your android device, albeit just a part of it. You don’t need to wait for the HTC One to get your device homescreen to look like one.
