The Motorola Droid RAZR HD is one of the most popular handsets on Verizon currently, and not without good reason. It was released in October last year alongside the Droid RAZR MAXX HD , it’s twin with the pumped up battery, and quickly went on to reach cult status. The Droid RAZR HD is one of the most current handsets from Verizon and has been recently updated to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean in December ’12. and if you happen to be on the lookout for a new high-end handset for yourself, and are not too bothered about getting into a new contract if the handset and network is worth it, then this deal is something that you don’t want to let slip away.
Amazon Wireless is offering the Droid RAZR HD to new customers (or existing ones adding a new line) for an unbelievable price of $0.01. Yeah, I did a double take too when I read this first. Jut a penny! All you need to do is sign up for a new line and agree to a two-year service contract with Verizon, and the RAZR HD is yours. However, if you’re looking to upgrade, it’s going to set you back by $89.99. For a top of the line handset, with superb build quality and cutting edge features like this fella, deals don’t get any better than this one.
And just in case you’re still thinking, here’s a quick recap of the specs this beast packs, which should have you reaching out for that credit card and clicking away to the Amazon Wireless website.
- 4.7 inch Super AMOLED 1280 x 720p display / Corning Gorilla Glass
- 1.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 Dual-core Snapdragon processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 16GB Internal Memory / microSD card slot for expandable memory
- 4G LTE connectivity
- 8MP Main camera / 1.3 MP Front Camera for video calling
- Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean ( Updated in Dec 2012)
- 2530 mAh battery
- DuPont Kevlar Fiber reinforced back
What do you think? These are top of the line specs, reserved for top of the table phones. And that Kevlar fiber reinforced back is absolutely gorgeous, not to mention, feels oh-so-premium. And while this fella may not be able to provide unreal battery life like the RAZR MAXX HD, the 2530 mAh brick is more than enough to get through the day and well into lunch the next. All things considered, a device like this one for a penny, and a two-year contract with the largest cellular network in the U.S sounds like a sweet deal to me. If it does to you too, hit the link below to order it from Amazon Wireless.
